Mamilva’s delegation of the Environment has recently launched the Autumn hiking programme for 2012.
The first hike will be this Sunday, November 11 in Jimena de la Frontera . with the route comprising of :
CANAL ARTILLERÍA – VEREDA MAESTRANZA – ASOMADILLA
This route is 10km in distance and has a medium – low difficulty level.
The second hike will take place on Sunday November 25, again in Jimena de la Frontera but this time through the lakes and the vineyards. This one is 11KM with the same medium – low difficulty level.
The hikes are open to all ages but any children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult and you must be in a reasonably fit physical condition applicable to the difficulty level.
The price of each hike which includes transport to and from Jimena is €5 per person. You must register by the Wednesday prior to the date of each hike and pay the €5 into Unicaja’s account no. 2103 0153 23 0230000044. (you can only do this between 8.30 and 10.30 on a Tuesday or Thursday!!) Maximum number of people per hike is 50.
Departure time for both hikes is 8am.
