Yet again the Foreign Residents Association of Manilva have done us proud with a great selection of upcoming events for the next few months. I’ll post more details about each individual event as and when they are released but here’s a quick summary of what we can look forward to…
November
Saturday 17 th – Trip to Sanlúcar de Barrameda
Trip includes a guided tour of one of the bodegas with wine tasting, lunch in a local restaurant and a free afternoon to explore the town.
December
Saturday 1st – Wine tasting
This will take place at Villa Matilde from midday. A chance to sample many of the regions fine wines..
Friday 7th – Trip to Cervantes theatre in Malaga
One for the whole family – A chance to see “La Zambomba de Jerez” – a traditional Christmas play featuring seasonal music and songs – probably the Spanish equivalent to our pantomime! ” Then the Malaga Christmas lights and an opportunity to do some shopping…
Saturday 15th – Christmas Benefit Market
This will take place at the Municipal Pavillion next to Lidl in Sabinillas from 12.00 – 19.00. The market is in aid of AFIMA
There will be various stalls and stands as well as yoga and reiki sessions and talks on fibromialgia, etc. Father Christmas will make an appearance and there will be bouncy castles and facepainting for the kids.
Sunday 16th – Foreign Residents Christmas Lunch
A much anticipated annual event – this year at the Jolly Sailor in Duquesa Port from 1.30 pm.
January
January 6th – Trip to see Swan Lake
A trip to see the beautiful ballet at Malaga’s Teatro Alameda from 8pm
