This saturday 25th August, Sabinillas celebrates its patron saint with a day of processions, music and partying . The day will begin, like every other local festival with rockets being let off at 8am and a march through the street of Sabinillas by the town band.
The main events take place in plaza Vincente Espinel (the main square behind the taxi rank). From 11am there will be activities for the children including a bouncy castle and face painting.
Later in the afternoon, there will be a mass in the church in Sabinillas in honour of the patron saint. after which the Saint’s statue is taken from the church and is carried in procession through the streets of the village accompanied by the town band.
The day ends with plenty of music and dancing in the Plaza Vicente Espinel from 10.00 pm through until the early hours of the morning.
