Update to this post – Unfortunately, Sapporo is no longer open. There is a lovely Indian restaurant in its place, called Mini India.
There is now a Japanese restaurant in Manilva.. to add to the many other varied types of restaurants on offer. Sapporo is situated on the top level of the commercial centre in Los Hidalgos, next to The Clubhouse bar.
The restaurant is traditionally and tastefully decorated and it is not just a restaurant … the staff try to offer a whole Japanese experience. Every chair has a kimono on it which you are invited to wear whilst dining and the chef puts on quite a show whilst cooking. There are several tables outside on the terrace and a outside cooking area has been set up during the summer so you can enjoy the experience with a sea view..
The restaurant has been open for a few months and has received mixed reviews but like every restaurant, I believe that you should try itb yourself and it is certainly on my list of ones to visit..
Sapporo is open every day from 12.00 to 16.00 for lunch and from 18.00 until 24.00 for dinner. For more information or to book, you can call 951276653
