Last month, I told you about a new company that was setting up a delivery service from many of the restaurants in Duquesa that offer a takeaway service. Previously, if you wanted a takeaway, there was no option but to go and collect it which, for me, living in Manilva, ,meant having to park in Duquesa which is not easy, especially this time of year….
Well, I am pleased to report that the service is now up and running and working brilliantly.. You have to first register your details on the website, www.anythingtoorder.com then you choose what you want, order it, and it is delivered to your door. There are menus from at least 10 different restaurants listed on the site including, chinese, indian, Fish & chips, kebabs, and Italian. Delivery charges do vary by area but this is clearly stated on the website. Basically, from Aldea Beach to Costa Galera is €3.50 and Manilva town is €4.90 They also deliver to Casares village but the charge is €24.90 – think I’d get in the car for that one!!!
There is also the option, to place your order online from the different menus available and collect it yourself – no more routing through drawers to find the local takeaway menu….
We used the service this weekend and I have to say it was fast, efficient and very organised – certainly worth the extra €5 to have it delivered to Manilva.
