Sabinillas beach has once again been awarded the Blue Flag award. To achieve this award, the beaches must offer certain facilities and maintain an excellent level of cleanliness and water quality.
We are very proud of our Blue flag status and the local council do their utmost to maintain the standard. The beaches are cleaned normally twice a day during the summer months, you can see the tractor clearing the sand early in the morning and late in the evenings.
Sabillillas beach is patrolled by life guards, has toilets, first aid facilities and several chiringuitos. And who can forgot the fabulous paseo with all its bars and restaurants.
The blue flag will be formally raised at this year’s San Juan celebrations on June 23. More details to follow later..
