If you want to experience the sights, sounds and atmosphere of a medieval times, then pop along to one of the Medieval Markets that are being held in Manilva this summer. These markets have been staged in Manilva over the last few years and have proved very successful, attracting both young and old visitors

The first market will be held this weekend from Friday 8th – Sunday 10th June  in Calle Mar (the main street) in Manilva.  There will be entertainment, including Falconry, and music from appropriately dressed musicians as well as various activities for the children. A variety of stalls will be selling arts and crafts and traditional foods and drinks.

The next market will be held  in the Castle at Castillo, over the weekend of 20, 21 and 22 July followed by the final one  in August on the Paseo in Sabinillas on the 23, 24, 25 and 26.

Certainly a good way to kill a few hours and good fun too. I’ll probably pop along to the Manilva one this weekend as it’s only round the corner from my house… I’ll post some photo’s next week..
