There is a little square, tucked away in the centre of Manilva known locally as “Pozo del Rey”. Over the few months this area had undergone extensive redevelopment – one of the largest undertaken by Manilva town hall – and now has a great kids playground (Exactly how many playgrounds can one village have???) as well as an underground car park with 159 parking places. Now, don’t get excited, these aren’t going to be “public” parking spaces – they are going to be sold privately (at a good price!) to anyone who wants to purchase one. Parking can be a problem, especially for residents in the centre of Manilva as the streets are very narrow – built more for a house than a car I think!
Anyway, tomorrow form 6pm,the new square will be officially opened and everyone is invited!
There will be children’s activities and games, bouncy castles and many more surprises, as well as “Merienda” (snack and a drink) for the kids. It promises to be a great family event
