This Saturday 25th January, the Manilva Foreign Residents association have organised a trip to Genalguacil. Genalguacil is located above the Genal valley in the Serranía de Ronda mountains, some 45km from Ronda itself. It is famed for it variety of landscapes, including mountains and pine forests. It is an art lovers paradise. Every year in August there is an art festival with the winning works of art aput on permanent public display throughout the town afterwards. You can wander the narrow streets, admiring the landscape and the artwork.
Included in the trip is a visit to the town’s museum, the textile workshop and lunch at a local restaurant. On the return journey, the coach will stop at Gaucin for a few hours so you can also explore this pretty village.
