Manilva’s local charity, The Duquesa Charitable Society of Saint George is aiming to provide Christmas presents for the children of local families in need.
Manilva’s Social Services department has identified over 250 children between the ages of three and twelve whose families will struggle to buy presents this year.
With this in mind, they have organised a “Christmas Present drop” Each present will comprise of a shoe box containing various gifts pertinent to the age and sex of each child.
You can donate to this project in 2 ways:-
- donate items such as games, toys, sweets, chocolate, etc.,which can be put into a shoe box – Please ensure they are not too big to fit into the shoe box
- Donate a completed ‘shoebox”
Items and completed shoeboxes can be dropped off at the Sabinillas Bookshop or Fathoms Bar,
