Great news for all us ex pats in the western Costa del Sol area, who, every now and again, crave some good old British grub! There is a new branch of Iceland opened in Puerto Banus.
Previously, the nearest Iceland was in Fuengirola which was about an hours drive away from Manilva – not ideal if it’s 30º outside and you’ve got a boot full of frozen food. Now the Banus branch has opened, its much easier to satisfy that craving!
There is obviously a mark up on the product – if it sells for £1.00 in the UK, it sells for €1.30 here in Sapin and so on. I’ve yet to visit the new branch yet but will report when I do.
For English sausages, bacon and the old convenience food to make life for us working mums a little easier occasionally, it’s definatley worth the trip – you just have to be careful not to overindulge on Cadburys chocolate!!!
