For an entertaining afternoon both for the kids and adults, why not try the Kings Bastion Leisure centre in Gibraltar. There is plenty to do, including an ice rink, bowling alley, cinema (showing films in English!), and restaurant.
Ice skating is £2.00 per person for 30 minutes but if it is not busy ( and it generally isn’t) then you can stay on for as long as you like. I am not a skater so sat on the sidelines to watch. It got pretty cold just watching, so I left the kids to it and ventured downstairs for a coffee. There is a pleasant restaurant serving meals and snacks.
After also “re-fueling” the kids we went on to play tenpin bowling. Again, prices are very reasonable , £4.00 per adult per game but kids under 15 play for half price if accompanied by an adult. There is also an offer of 1 hours play for £20.00 for up to 6 people.
Something different to do when maybe the weather is not so good that doesn’t break the bank.
