As you will know from my previous blog, it’s Feria this week in Manilva. Although the “official” opening of the fair isn’t until Thursday, there is a special children’s day on Wednesday where all the rides are €1 each. So, regardless of the fact that the “proper” partying won’t start until Thursday around midnight, all the banks in Sabinillas and Manilva are open fewer hours this week.
Generally, normal banking hours are 8.30 until 2pm, however ALL this week most of the banks are closing between 12.00 and 12.30 – some aren’t opening until 9am either.
As you wander along the top road in Sabinillas where most of the banks are situated, there are signs on most of the doors with this weeks hours. I particularly liked the very colourful sign on the door of Cajamar bank wishing us all “Felices Fiestas”…
so, don’t get caught out – if you need to go to the bank this week – go before 12!
