Manilva’s municipal swimming pool will be open to the public as from Monday 1st July, although you can currently use enjoy the pool bar, terrace and surrounding grassed areas.
Throughout the past year, the pool area and in particular the pool itself has been re furbished and improved. It is now the ideal place to spend the hot summer days.
Many of the properties in Manilva do not have pool and there are only 2 or 3 newer development with community pools so the municipal pool is a focus for the community during the summer. The pool is perfectly clean and safe and there is always a lifeguard on duty.
In fact, the Manilva pool has been chosen to hold the Provincial swimming championships on 2nd August which shows that the improvements to the pool are significant and the quality is outstanding. The pool will also be used for the aquatic events in this weekend’s 24 hour sports marathon in Manilva.
Even if you have access to a communal pool, it is always nice to go somewhere different every now and then, so pack a picnic, or grab a bite at the poolside bar and come and enjoy Manilva’s pool for the day…and best of all, its free..
