Want to meet new friends, attend organised events or just have a chat with other English speaking residents, then pop along to the weekly “ICE” meeting. ICE stands for International club of Estepona. The club welcomes all English speaking residents. They meet each Thursday from 10.30am and 1.00pm at their clubhouse which is situated in , Urbanisation Bahia Dorada, Entrada 5, at Km. 149, A 7, Estepona (beachside).
The clubhouse has a bar & restaurant which is run by member volunteers.The bar is open during all events, as well as Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday lunchtimes. A 2 course lunch is served on Thursday lunch times, with tapas served at other lunchtimes.
Regular events include Social Evenings, Bridge, Whist, , Golf, aand bowls. Other activities offered are Spanish Lessons, ICE Players Theater Group, Needle Crafts, Gardening, Art with instruction, Quiz Night, and IT lessons.
There is a large Screen TV at the clubhouse for major events, and a free Book and Jigsaw Library. Members receive a free monthly magazine with all the local news and details of forthcoming events.
Some upcoming events include a 3 day trip to Granada, a trip to Fuengirola theatre to see Annie , TheMusical, and a day trip to Cadiz with official guided tour around the city.
So, if you’re at a loose end, why not pop along on a Thursday morning , have a drink and maybe even stay for lunch.
