Now in its 7th year, the annual carneval “Pena los ninos” will be held in Parque El Duque this Saturday 16th March starting from 12.00. There will be a full range of traditional carneval entertainment and some of the best Carneval music groups from all over the region. Even if you don’t understand all the dialogue, the visual entertainment and the costumes are well worth seeing.
The event is being organised by the Education and Cultural department of Manilva.
Parque el Duque is a great park with a fantasic playground and mini golf. Plenty to keep the kids amused.
In addition to all the entertainment, the town hall are offering free paella to everyone. A giant paella is cooked in the open air, which is a spectacle in itself…. Entrance to the fiesta is free and with free paella, what are you waiting for. looks like weather will hold out too so go along for a fun afternoon for all the family.
