Skippers is still around but no longer the ‘New Kid on the Block’. Click the link above for up to date telephone numbers and details.

Whether you are here on holiday or have lived here for years, I can guarantee that, at some point, you will hanker for some gold old British Fish & Chips. Up until now, you would have had to either go to Marlows in Los Hildagos or JJs Fish & Chips in Duquesa Port. Well, now there is a new kid in the block – Skippers in Sabinillas. All offer great fish & chips in my opinion.

Skippers Fish and Chips has been open for a few months now and has proved a great success with both locals and tourists alike. The interior is tastefully decorated with (obviously) a fishing theme :), the small tables (which they are more than happy to push together for larger parties) have checked tablecloths and small vases with a single flower – reminiscent of a seaside cafe in the UK.

You can either just get a takeaway or take a seat and enjoy your meal inside. During the summer months, seating will be available outside on the terrace – there’s something about eating fish & chips in the sunshine.

Drinks are reasonable priced and there’s a nice dessert menu as well – if you’ve got room!

Skippers is located in Calle Duquesa de Arcos – at the back of what used to be The last resort.
